Going west

My husband's father (85 year) has had a heart attack, so we went to him in the west of Norway. He has now returned home from the hospital and is doing fine. I want to share with you some pictures I took along the way.

Another waterfall

And another one..

All the photos of the houses are from a little old town called Gamle Lærdalsøyri

We drove this road you can see in the photo

  2. Hi Mona! Thank you for sharing your lovely photos. Those are some dramatic waterfalls! The terrain looks very much like the Columbia River gorge in Oregon--very beautiful. I love the old town and the gingerbread on one of the houses--very pretty.

  3. Mona, your blog was not updated in mine so I didn't see this post. What wonderful landscapes! What beautiful waterfalls! It is an incredible feeling of peace. And this little town... I love the houses, so different of ours. Was a long but beautiful trip :-)
