My daughter has a friend who works with wallpaper, paint, etc. - he gave me all this wallpaper! These are samples that they will not use any more. Each sample is about 1 m. and they will be great for dollhouses.

Anybody know if wallpaper is acid free? If it is, I also can use these samples for scrapbooking.

Anyone can go into shops where wallpaper is sold and ask if they can "inherit" their samples,
it may be worth a try :)

  2. About.com Scrapbooking have this advice on their site...

'Unfortunately, most wall papers are not acid-free, meaning that they will yellow, turn brittle, and cause the same things to happen to items that they come into contact with in your scrapbooks. Many wall papers also contain vinyl which can release harmful gases that will deteriorate your photographs and cause fading. If there is a specific pattern of wall paper that you want to use for decorative or sentimental reasons, I recommend scanning the paper and printing a copy of it on acid-free printer paper.'

More for the Dollhouse then =0)
